Tolcarne sleeps 4 guests, plus infants and is a fully equipped, high end property for a self catering holiday located on the grounds of Carnebo Holiday Barns.
Carnebo are a small collection of four traditional converted barns and eleven purpose built lodges; surrounded by Cornwall’s finest sweeping country views, the land on which Carnebo sits gives its guests a surprising amount of outdoor space to enjoy our communal facilities including an outdoor heating swimming pool with BBQ and seating area, a hot tub, a large picnic garden with children’s play area and pond with fish.
Situated less than 1 mile from Goonhavern village that has a traditional Cornish pub and shop, and the miles of golden sandy beaches are less than a ten minute drive away in both directions! A perfect base, away from the hustle and bustle, to give you the best of both worlds for your holiday!
Tolcarne has its own private Hottub, and enclosed decked outdoor area, with additional space to enjoy BBQ, picnics and enjoy the Cornish Air! French doors lead you into the Open Plan property, which welcomes in plenty of light! The open area consists of a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a 50inch TV, plenty of comfortable seating, and a dining area. Everything you would expect to be comfortable, has been provided for you!
To the back Tolcarne offers generous sized rooms, the Master has a Kingsize Bed and the second room is made up of Zip and Link Twin Beds. Both Bedrooms offer smart TVs and plenty of furniture for you to settle in. Along with a shared shower room with a shower unit, toilet and sink, plenty of storage!
Tolcarne offers complimentary wifi throughout your break.
There is a dedicated parking space to the side of the Lodge, and additional parking is available near by on-site should it be required.
All linen, towels and charges are included in the price of your stay. A manager will be onsite daily to assist with making your holiday one to remember!
Tolcarne Lodge is dog friendly and welcomes up to 2 well behaved pets free of charge.
The North Coast of Cornwall has an abundance of attractions like Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and the Eden Project nearby. Cornwall is well known as family friendly, and as a family run site, we aim to offer everything you will need to be comfortable for the duration of your stay.
Perranporth village is in close proximity and entices sunbathers, surfers and families with its three mile long sandy shores, where you and your family can have lunch in the Watering Hole pub situated in a prime position directly on the beach. The bustling and lively town of Newquay is a short drive away here you can experience the cool vibe of the surfing Mecca and perhaps even give it a go yourself.
Aside from the private facilities for Tolcarnes use only, the site offers many communal areas which you may enjoy at your leisure. A communal heated outdoor swimming pool, childrens play areas, BBQ & Picnic Areas and a fish pond.
*Outdoor swimming pool is open from April until 30th September (where weather permits we aim to extend into October, though this not guaranteed)

Our holiday cottages on the north Cornwall coast are the ideal location for exploring some of Cornwall’s most cherished locations. The wildly beautiful landscapes and rugged cliff walks are worth a visit in itself, along with the 70 miles of soft golden sandy beaches.
Take a visit to the famous surfing town of Newquay and experience the exciting atmosphere where surfers and holiday makers combine, with many top class eateries, vibrant nightlife and eight beaches within walking distance from the town centre.
There's lots of family attractions in the area too including a trip to Newquay Zoo where you can meet the lions, penguins and monkeys, you will be spoilt for choice on where to spend your days.
You will find the small seaside resort of Perranporth just 10 minutes away from the cottages, giving you plenty of choice when planning a great day out. Lounge on the long stretch of beach, get wet and wild with a surf lesson, or take a visit to the golf course with amazing views across the bay.
If you get a little peckish then head for a bite to eat at ‘The Watering Hole’ a popular restaurant actually situated right on the beach!
